I paticularly enjoyed scotts chapter on podcasting. In a way podcasting is similar to blogging, in the sense that it allows less mainstream, or as the book refers to them “indie”, bands to expose their music to a much larger audience. Blogging is like podcasting for writers. People can post their feelings and thoughts in a blog and have it open for the public to read.

February 11, 2008The case studies for this week were particularly interesting. I especially enjoyed the case involving the public relations nightmare General Motors dealt with after Dateline NBC broadcast a report implicating GM trucks as being unsafe vehicles. This story is a classic case of how important public relations is to any business or corporation.
how i feel about c&c
February 4, 2008So far i am enjoying cases and campaigns. As far as the in class discussions go I would like to talk more in depth about the reading assignments for the tipping point. I also like talking about the case studies in groups. I think this method allows each of the groups to come up with different conclusions and interpretations of what went wrong and what actions can be taken in order to come up with a feasible solution to the case. The class as a whole seems like it will be very beneficial and helpful. The blogging I am still trying to get used to…
